Deal came up that I might just have to go with so something has to go...
Car is a 1959 english ford Zephyr MK II LoLine. 4dr I6 3 on the tree. Car has not been insured since 1970 but runs, drives, and stops. Does need restoration but an 'easy' project for a motivated person. One owner car before me.
Off the top of my head the car will need:
rubber brake hoses
clutch slave cylinder rebuilt or replaced
front fender rust repair
rocker rust repair in both front sections
a couple small patches in the floor
one tail light lense
dash pad
some upholstery repair, mostly in driver position
I have done all the paperwork with ICBC and the car will need to be inspected and a new VIN attatched to get regi. If you get it to a facility I will have the inspection done and sign the car in to your name.
Chrome and stainless are in good driver condition with the exception of a broken trunk emblem and one missing fender 'V' emblem but parts are still available commonly on ebay and online vendors as these cars were and still are quite popular in the UK and australia. Glass is good but has a small 2" crack in the windsheild edge, hasn't spread since I've had it. Window seals and windsheild glass are still available.
I dont have many recent pictures of the car but it can be seen here (http://www.angelfire.com/bc3/tbirdscott/zephyr/) since those pics I have installed newer radials all around, removed the seats, carpet, drivers fender, and grill. Here are some pics from last fall (http://s68.photobucket.com/albums/i11/turbosprunt/Zephyr/). I have all the pieces off of it plus some brake cylinder rebuild kits, and spare door/window handles. If anyone is interested I can get some new pics of it this weekend.
Not sure what it is worth as they are not common around here and rarely go up for auction in the US and Canada so lets start with $2000. Come take a look and make me an offer.
