I see the wood moulding planes all the time at the auction I go to on Friday nights. They run between $5 and $50 depending on the make & condition but I wouldn't know a collectable one from any other. If there's something in particular you need just let me know some specifics as I do a bit of scrounging for some collectors I know.
Do you know what this tool is? I think it's some kind of pitchfork, my daughter calls it a "Spork"....a tool none the less!

thanks atom....not sure what that thing is, the design i can see on it is throwing me off...but....with my swollen head and huge mouth, i could finish off a box of kraft dinner in a hurry..
as for the planes i'm looking for the wood moulding ones , usually hand made... they tend to be narrow and deep and about 12" long....

I saw 5 of them trim/moulding planes at the auction tonight go for $4 each...... usually they go for closer to $10.
If your interested, how many do you want and for how much $ (don't forget shipping from L1B1G6)
I picked up a nice piece of finished Burl for $2. Its 11" round and 2" thick, not sure what wood it is though.

In the next month or two I have a friend going from here to GTA to pick up his car and then back.
If it's anything that can wait I'm sure he'd grab them and get them back to Alberta then if it's before May I could get them to the Red Deer swap.
Just something to ponder.
Bob
thanks guys....i'm not in a huge rush ....i will more than likely find some closer to home....just thought i'd put the word out...
