Just exactly what is it that makes this project so bad to you all ?. Is it the bagged suspension or the late model drive train ?. ..77.

What dont you like about it ? I see things that I wonder a bit about . But , Isnt that what makes " abandoned" project cars even better . Buy it cheeeep , change it the way you like it .
Personally i think if the bags can be set up right , this thing could be pretty low and easily out handle any leaf spring kinda suspension . And a complete , really late model d/train , MTO cops drive clean can go pound salt over that part. ..77.

What duz the body shell itself cost to purchase?

When you look at all the gear that is there it's not a bad buy, sure it will need stripping and doing properly but it is a vehicle with potential and costing out the parts it's not a bad buy at around $8,000. What is a glass body going to cost.
Sure there is things there I don't like the look of right now but it wouldn't take a lot of effort to get it on path or a good starter project for someone.
Just my 2c worth, John
I looked at that on E Bay a few days ago too, and , although I don't need another project, I thought it was good value for the money. OK, it may not be my cup of tea as it stands, and it looks like some of you also agree, but after some "tweekin" it may just come around to be something nice.

First off..... the angle degree of the engine looks like the last few moments of the Titanic.
Where is the"sweet rake?"....oh, prolly in the woodshed out back. What kind of shell sits out front?....a Diamond Reo or International Harvester?

Lets move around to the dining section.... those (roll and pleats???) look like my grannys old knickers....I have seen better corrugated boxes look better.
The bucket seats fit suburb.

Davey Joe...I thought was a bowtie grill(34?).... But the whole thing looks like a snow plow.... out of season!
77..... I hope you don't think I was being a smart ass posting this kissing kousin.... I just RAIL against this type of garbage.
We as Canucks have a steep history in hotrods and drag racing... not as big as our southern brothers, But rich none the less.
This thing could not pass a safety if we all pushed it!.
It's just an embarassment.

I'm a bit confused.
First the ad says, "Model A"
Then it says, "34"
I have to agree; their MIGHT be some usable parts ... but for that kind of money; think you could buy a whole lot of BETTER pieces!

I guess I'd better abandon my 34 Chev 5 window Coupe project or at least not post any pictures of it on this site!!!!!
I'm sure the pictures on the ebay was just a mock-up of parts to indicate what was for sale. Yes I think there are a few massive errors on the chassis build but the sum of the parts is more than the buyer paid. I'm betting that you will see this whole thing parted out and appear on ebay in a very short time and the buyer will come away with some serious coin in his pocket.
My 2 bits worth (2 cents with todays inflation)

:rolleyes:Well Jeff I'm afraid your right on.Thats the worst contrivance I have seen for a while. Well it’s going stateside. Look at it this way take the body and fix the trunk that’s been cut out and build a new rolling chassis .Then take the wheels, they look good, but sell them. Take the motor out and to the scrap yard,,, Sell the grill which looks in good shape and recouped some of your $8500.00 bucks .The interior is trash, but maybe the gauges etc airbags are salvageable .Its actually a good deal for the parts .As for design,,: eek: there is no thought process at all, but a blind man would love to see it.

Geez, for $8500 it's worth it. Change the front end set up and finish it off and you've got a driver for no more than $15k
