Bob spent a LOT of $$$ at it. I was only the custodian for a time.

Shaune......I can't afford to sell you your car !:)

And, unlike Hunter, who will probably get his Austin panel back at
a reasonable price, I cannot afford to even get near those two cars.

I had my Model A and the '41. My son was ski racing and the cost
was fairly costly for the family. My wife (ex) said get rid of one of
those cars, cause we need the dough !

So.........

Hello Keith,

Remember back to the times when your son was ski racing; slowly go forward through all the memories you've had with him; you made the right choices then, and I know you would do it all again in a heart beat!

Keith you had a couple of potentially great cars and you know you only get out of something what effort you put in and I'd say you put the effort in the right places there with your son and not the cars.

Not everyone can say they owned a car that went on to be a show stopping car.

Good for you all round with owning 2 neat cars at one stage and the way your young fella turned out.

Cheers and Beers, John

Hahahahaha, I had one of those once as well Stan, they just don't understand some of them do they.

When you tell the next one that comes along about that experience they seem to have a bit better understanding eh.

Cheers, John

Yup,
That's the '41 Vert I remember Bob having. The pictures don't do it justice. It was some sweet and real fast.

That 'vert ended up crashed on the Langley bypass a couple of years ago. I used to have some pics of it, but I'm having trouble finding them. If I can finally track them down, I'll post them here. I think the car got fixed again after the crash, but I'm not positive.
