Sorry about the wait boys, but its been busy this month with the crawl,going to Portland Swapmeet, then leaving right after to Vegas.
Any how heres the long awaited pics of the Okanagan Garage Crawl.
Then some more to be posted later on of Vegas.

This was the first stop, on the list of many at Sun-view Powder Coating and got the grand tour.

Heres the tanks where they treat there products before they get powder coated.

The production line, every thing hangs on hooks and travels along this conveyor belt system.

Then the parts get powder coated and travel into this huge oven that a couple of hundred feet long and move along bakes the powder coating on the the parts just long anuff.
Then when they come out the other side, they cool and can be packaged.

Heres the guy explaining how the powder coating works and hes showing use the gun they use to spray like the frames and big pieces here.

This is a 49-51 Merc this person is working on, it seems to be coming along really nice and great workmanship, "but not my kind of cookie".

Then we went by UpTown Dogs place, cool guy, Great meeting you l would post more pictures up of his car but there already on the site, and l love your car.
Any how, l came across his grocery getter for getting uptown, in the front of his house.

Then we were off to this place that has alot of Model A's and flathead stuff.

This is a funkie Kustom these guys are working on, they got quite the imagination, and very creative minds.

Then we went by Wild Willy's place (Keven)
Started watching him do a burn out, as the smoke was just starting to come out the wheel wells,l was about to take a shot, he had to shut it down, so no burn out shot.
He broke his water pump on Buick convert, and had to shut it down because of the carnage.

Now back on to the bus, theres a lot of stuff to see..
l even left out a couple of small shops out, along the way because theres so much.
Off to Oliver to an Old wreakers that has been shut down for many years, and the old guy wouldnt sell nothing.
It use to be full of everything from the early 60s and down to 20s stuff.
He passed on and a young guy bought it about 7 yrs ago.
l was in there then and there was tons of stuff l even got some picures from then but that another story..
You know all story's come to an end, and this is the last of the stuff which is now a handfull of cars..

After that we went to Osoyoos we checked out another shop and he restores 60s and 70s cars
He had 2 nice 64 Impala's there a hardtop and convert, a couple of Camaro's and Nova's.

We go next store, and then out front is a real 57 Chevy Convert that the guy has a creek running through the car.
You tell me what this car is worth restored?
lts restorable and he had a couple other nice cars out back like a Superbird with a 440 6 pack.

The next stop is to Keremeus over to Earls place.
l was there about 5 yrs ago left to wonder around his place for a few hours when he was working on the inlaws truck.
lt was a good treat coming back, and he's acquired abit more stuff...
Talk about Barn finds, this place is full of them.

Anyways, some how Vince and l got absorbed into checking out all this way to cool stuff.
We got left behind by the bus.
Man how could they forget to colorful charters such as Vince and l, Must be the Stick Shift jackets.
Do we smell that bad?.. :shock:
Anyways nice guy that Earl is, he gave us a ride over to Kens place..:P

Any how l didnt take a bunch of pictures over at Kens because l have a bunch already from the Jalopy Cruz.
Heres some new things that Ken has aquired like this trike- bike, made in 1962 in Checkoslovacia or Ukraine or something like that with a 350 cc two stroke engine in it.

This is an old shed they draged down from Hedley its over 100 yrs old and one of Kens lead hands lives in it.
l Think its pretty cool the shed is all fixed up inside.

Looks like you had a pretty good bus trip there Loryder, there is some neatt in to be found around the place there alright. Does your mate Ken sell some of the stuff he as there as well. Isn't that a shame about the Lesalle that would have been a real nice thing by the look of it, but at least it is still salvageable.

That's a shame that he doesn't sell some of that stuff, so I guess it will be like the horders we have seen in other recent pics, there will come a day when they are usless to man or beast. What is with these guys when they could spin a buck and see someone else getting happy miles and doing what these cars were designed for, DRIVING NOT RUSTING AWAY. I know they have them because they can, but get real with it. If they can't fix everything up then pick out the few that they really want and get rid of the rest. I'm amazed there are so many out there doing that. Sure some vehicles are only good for parts cars but when they are complete and in not to bad of condition then it beats me where their reality starts and ends. Or at the very least get them out of the weather.

Chuckey used to say I was a sick sick boy.......Me warden has alway's said I is sick sick.....I is always sellin or tradein but I seem's to be always findin and that is where me warden has trouble.......I fondly remember one day that Rex and me were taken off a gas tank in Clinton ( Rex had the auto wrecker there) Rex's wife said to him Rex it is me or the autowrecker's....Rex said Bye.....Kind of like Adrian had this girlfriend and he also had a Lab dog....She said Adrian it is the dog or me.....Adrain said bye......Stopped there one night and he was cookin up some steak and some tube type stuff.....Baboon (the Lab) got the steak.....How I run on but now me fingers are workin this morning and kin trust them to hold a coffee....
