Yeah Turbo 6 suppose to go like hell....I remember seeing one with it ass end up on a concrete abutment (around the first or second turn off after hope on the coke) rear wheels right off the ground...The guy was trying to get on or go off and on or off ramp anyway he was going way to fast..He was wearing a tuban...had to chuckle...Grand National carpet....hehehehe...

Had a 65 Vette roadster with a very healthy 67 427 in it, close ratio, 3.73's. About the only car I wish I could have back.... loved the subtle sound of the solid cam at idle....

I would have to say the Ford cobra with that aluminum english body and big block ford. My first car was a Triumph TR4 that I warmed over, so I have a soft spot for that era sports cars....

The closest i could ever get to a muscle car would be a '65/6 Mustang fastback.

66 or 67 vette would be my weapon of choice......
One of the hottest cars I probably had was a 1970 Dodge RT Coronet with a 440. The six pack was removed for a single 4 and the motor warmed up and balanced/blueprinted. Went fast but we thought of it as a big boat and sold it cheap in the 80's. $1500 and it was hard to sell. Orange with white interior, consule automatic and factory 8 track. Could spin the tires all day.

I always liked the look of a 69 Camaro, but the closest I've got to owning one is a 1/12 scale model.

I worked at the dealerships in the late 60's when muscle cars started to come out. Didn't interest me then, had a 46 ford, and don't interest me now, just used cars. Always loved hot rods. That's just me. Pat.

Some call it a sickness, Ford is what I like the most. I'm goint ot choose a car that came from the factory ready to race. The Thunderbolt, these cars were produced to win at the drag strip and they did. http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z2/windsor_408/gassers%20and%20stuff/CS90.jpg

I have a 69 Camaro small block - nice but not scary. A "true" muscle car has to be a Big block and scary.
My Torino Cobra will be scary when its done, but my choice comes down to two cars - a early 60's Shelby 427 Cobra (all horsepower and light aluminum) and a 68 GTO.
My two actual scariest rides were a friend"s 69 Corvette big block - thought I would be shaken apart with the fiberglas, and my tennis coach's 68 GTO big block convertible - I wet my pants in that one when he hammered it down a neighbourhood street. My fingerprints are still on the front of the dash!! and that was 31 years ago.
Honorable mention goes to a British muscle car (oxymoron??) - a 1970 Lotus Super 7 (Caterham)- 115 horses in a 1200 pound car four inches off the ground - handled like it was on rails - Wish I bought that one....

Any of the cars from the Muscle Car era would do me.
But if I need to put something down, and no this isn't from that era, then it would have to be ...................

I'm torn, there are so many I would like to call my own. If I could choose just one it would be the silver bullet: http://www.carcraft.com/featuredvehicles/906_1967_plymouth_belvedere_gtx/index.html

Fairly easy for me to choose.
The 1969 boss 429 ford mustang with a 4 speed. If I got to choose what options I wanted I'd of course get the candle apple red paint, with black vinyl interior, interior trim and stereo upgrade package, handling package, with the upgraded posi differential. And the hockey stick 429 exterior option.
I think there was a couple of other options that I would like in there, but i cannot think of them off the top of my head. Either way its in the top 10 of my favorite cars of all time. I especially like the dual lights on each side, with the two set inside the grill. most 70's didn't have them :(

Chad was asking for more pics of the '50 Studie Panic Parrot, so rather then load the site with more pics I sent him a link to this site.

As for my Stude it's been painted, so I'll be spending the summer getting her put together, wired, plumbed, etc. Hoping to make the Atlantic Nats. this year, but if not, she'll be ready for Tours East '09.
I'm hoping people will want to stop here for a night or two. Thinking of a BBQ and hiring Morgan Davis to play.
