Yeah,
Our parents and grand parents fought and sometimes died to ensure future generations lived in freedom.......... and now our elected officials want to take it all away bit by bit, bylaw by bylaw! Really sucks!
Russ:rolleyes:

BC doesn't have a fender law. It states that rear mudguards are required. Obviously written for large trucks. If you are cited for no fenders you will beat it in court. It has been done before. If you are cited for no rear mudguards, they gottcha. Pat

Go for it Lee, real Hot rods don't have fenders or hoods, hey hang on a minute mine does, hahahahaha. I guess if there is no mud around you wont need mudguards;):), that's always something less to fall off don't you think, you might want some protection though when you hit the salt pans either that or drive real steady.
This is where you guys need a good federation for Hot Rods to put your cases to the government. I'm hoping we get a national rego scheme here which has been talked about for years because we will be able to take alll the good things from each state and use them to our advantage, if the delegates do it the right way.
Our problem here is there are to many cry baby guys with Hot Rods who aren't really Hot Rodders just guys with Rods and don't they squark if someone drives around without fenders,
Oh i'm getting off track again. C'ya mate, John

I've driven fenderless cars for years and never ever been bothered. And I'm talking daily driven for 9.5 months of the year, not every 3rd sunny sunday.
Like Pat says, the law states you must have mudguards, well my model A didn't come with mudguards! So its whoever interpetation you wanna take.
Lee, theres been a few cops say if you have fenders on the car at all and you take em off you gotta put em back on and run em.
Real hot rods don't have fenders so why would anyone run em:D:cool:

Around this area,if you had no fenders, there did not seem to a big problem. If you drove around obeying most traffic laws and not burning rubber at every light and speeding, the cops left you alone. No problem. But don't give them a reason to pull you over, and start looking for reasons to get you off the road.
Of course having only a little grey hair left helps too. They seem to think the more mature guys drive more sensible .
But now that Deuce Days has happened, no one seems to know exactly what to expect. Right now ,it is wait and see.

I'd take my fenders off, but I think I'd be cited for driving an Ugly.
