I was going to use this in my 55 2nd series but have decided to go the T5 route. Near impossible to find and perfect to convert your 54 and older Chevy or GMC pick up to an open drive shaft. This rear end was only available in 56-59 GMC 100 pickups only. Direct bolt in also for 55-59 Chevy truck to change out the 3.90 ratio to a 3.08 ratio, which will drastically improve your gas mileage. Missing one drum and the emergency brake cables were cut but have them for samples. Brake pads and cylinders are good. $300 firm.
