no you don't see many sectioned 53 Fords, Pat. In fact, I'm pretty sure this is the first one I have ever seen, so thanks for the pic. Now I think I know how they came up with the 55-56 Thunderbird styling....

Pat, maybe you would remember. Seems to me that I saw a 53 or 54 Ford that someone was sectioning on the road in Vancouver around 1964 to 66. I thought he was trying to make a Thunderbird out of it. Does it turn a lightbulb on?

Carl, I don't remember ever seeing that car. Sectioned 52-54 Fords are pretty rare. I like the look. Makes a pretty sleek body out of a wishy washy looking car. Pat.

I HATE it when people make clown/cartoon cars! Not to insult youre taste, bullet, but that this makes me depressed! haha

As for the sectioned ford, I dunno...I like sectioned shoeboxes but this one might take a bit to grow on me...

I always expect a bunch of clowns to come out of one of those shortened cars. Just butt ugly. That is not an improvement in styling, just change for the sake of change. I think my eyes hurt now. Make it go away. Pat.
