I was wondering what wiring harness would be the best to use. The old wiring in the Anglia was put in over 35 yrs ago and it was kind of a hack job then. Any input would be appreciated.

If ya want my 2 cents here, I've tried them all (I Think) and my favorites are :
Ron Francis or
American Auto Wire.
If ya lacked space, It's A Snap was great, but they are no more.
Ya have many ta choose from.
If ya don't understand the 12 volt stuff to well you want one with good instructions that most can understand. They all claim their detailed instructions are easy ta follow, wires marked every 6", and so on.
If your wiring it yourself, do some lookin'.
Ask a lot of questions.
It's just that easy ! :rolleyes::confused:

Good call Tunes. My fave is the American Autowire product. Excellent instructions, very good quality. The cheaper kits have cheaper wire in them. Its a Snap was the most economical and compact, but they left the market when wire and metal prices spiked. (That was their answer when asked). Francis is a little more money, but I like the American Autowire kits the best.
On a related note, if you are doing a 55-7 Chev car, a 60-66 or 55-9 Chev truck or first gen Camaro/Firebird, American Autowire's retrofit kits are best on the market, hands down.
I used the E-Z wiring harness with the mini fuse box and 18 circuits and it was great. I have had no issues with it and they came with good instructions.

Thanks for the input guys, I guess I'll read up on them and see whatever has the easiest instuctions to follow. [I kind of need that] I didn't know how many different harneses where out there.
If you want to shoot me your address, I will mail you my E-Z instruction booklet if you mail it back or take it to our branch in Surrey to come back to me.
Pretty basic stuff.

Why don't you try REBEL WIRE ??? It's a great kit, everything is labeled, good gauge wire for the loads needed, not the small spade fuses that are so hard to use and replace. No frills kits for really good prices. Way cheaper then the big name brands.

Where would you buy a Rebel Wire Kit? I've used painless, Centech, and E-Z Wire and they all did the job The last several cars were E-Z mostly because they work well and are lass expensive.

....I've got a Rebel Wire kit (still in the box) and you can't beat the price. Instructions are OK with just a basic knowledge of electronics.....send a PM to Pist-n-Broke......he deals...

Yes Stan, It's A Snap was apperently taken over by TPI Tech. I don't know who the canadian distributor is now but they do have a toll-free no. Google for it.
If I was wiring another car or P/U, I would recomend It's A Snap. Very compact and good quality.
Good luck.
