Stupid Question

Okay, here is my first stupid question for the new board. Where can I buy lug nuts? I'm looking for 12 x 1.50 steel nuts from a camaro or an S-10 pickup. I've tried the local jobber and the local wreckers and nobody seems to carry them or sell them. There are lots of chrome ones but I just want plain steel.
Any suggestions?

Well Grumper, at my location, Red Deer, I can get lug nuts plain or chrome....acorn etc...at the local tire store (Kal Tire). I needed to 'see' several diffent styles, and I was escorted to a wall of different styles and sizes.
I am not sure of your location, but I am sure that you could probably get the same type of product there (assuming North America).

Holy jeez, I'm full of stupidities today. I was at the tire store this morning getting a price for my girlfriend's v-dub and I never even thought of asking about them. DUH!

That's the thing, I've tried the local NAPA and crappy tire. Both have chrome but no plain steel. I guess I'll have to go with the chrome, no one will see them they'll be covered by hubcaps.

You could try your local GM dealer...some of their stuff is priced fairly reasonable, some is not...
