Installing an LT1

Here is some good information if you are trying to install an LT1 into an older body. I took mine from a 96 Caprice and the motor mounts are offset (about and 1'' to 1 1/2''). I had my chassis set up for straight across mounts. Wasn't sure if I would have to move my mounts, get offset motor side mounts.. or what I could do.
I found this site that explained the passenger side mount can be rolled over and works as a straight across mount.

kwasyd:DThe LT-1 is set up on the block for regular motor mounts and the offset mount as well .No modifications at all.Just bolt on the older style mounts.Then the fun begins making it run.
