Micks 39 Chevy 2 door which came in from N.Z some years ago because 2 doors never came out here in Oz and this car runs a Big Block Chevy and he loves to drive this hard at driving events whenever he can and the man with the Mopar has a couple of nice Mopars at home as well, 56Effie and myself got socially excitted with the rest of the crew from this club which 56 Effie is a member of (Eliminators and a great club) and we wont tell who chundered the next day will we 56effie and went to sleep in the cab of his F100 in the main street while this show and shine was in progress, Bedford Tim behaved himself though. It was another good weekend away. Tim and I bought a 64 Dodge so he would have a cruiser for the weekend but it never quiet worked out the way we wanted and the Dodge never made it for this run.

How about a nice (has to be straight to be black) 59 Chevy still left hand drive, once again these never came out here in a 2 door and only in 4 doors, you can now register a left hook car here provided it is over 30 years old.

Another nice Galaxie in a 4 door pillaless, I have a feeling this to may have been an Import or if it was an Oz delivered new car it would be very rare being a pillarless.

A cut down 37 Ford 4 door sedan into a Pickup, maybe it is a modified pickup cab but these guys had a truck load of fun all weekend.

Cundy (that is his real name) always has a ball with his Chevy and this thing is a tough as nails to. A couple of years ago he near blew a couple of his fingers off with a big cracker (fireworks) he was going to throw under another guys caravan who was telling everyone he never entered the run and didn't pay (The guy in the van was a just a bludger on the rest of the rodders) for anything so Cundy was going to drop a banger under his van at 1.00 a.m. but it went off early, after a trip to 4 different hospitals he finished up in Brisbane about 6 hours north in those days, now you can do it in about 4. He is a funny bugger as well.

Hugger (Ronny) had his new Willys out, he always powers with a Ford and this one has a 6 71 under the hood just to make it more interesting.

Someone (oh not the old someone again) said this T Bird had a tree fall on it at some stage and was an import from the U.S, some of the wood was coming away at the joins and the corner bits had gone as well.

It was a good weekend though and it is one of those runs where you catch up with friends you only see once or twice a year. They have a good auction at this run of donated stuff and all the profits go to charity. They have some really neat stuff to auction as well.
