Looking for a set of 305 exhaust manifolds like the ones pictured. They're for my 37 Chev flatback. I have the same ones in my sedan, and the rear dump design of them make it much easier to get the steering linkage done without the use of extra u joints or steady bearings. These were available to my knowledge in a lot of the 78-87 GM G-bodies (Olds Cutlass, Regal, Monte Carlo, etc.) All leads appreciated.

The ones on the trucks dump completely at the rear of the manifold on the driver's side. They might suit your needs, John!Do they have to be from a 305? You might wanna try Vancouver Core Supply ,they are on 88th between 132 and 128th in Surrey.Do want me to see if they have what you looking for and how much they would want for a set?

Those manifolds are manifolds ive seen on a Camaro. The truck manifolds all hang down like a header with just a flange at the exhaust ports. The camaro ones are alot nicer to work with being compact. Have you had a problem with them melting your valve cover gaskets?

Ralf, I've had no problems with the valve cover gaskets with these manifolds. Larry, thanks for the reply about these, but i'm going to see if there is a xloser set first. Thanksthough, and I'll keep you posted on progress. Fergie, PM sent.
Thanks to all for the replies so far.

I haven't checked the official 1937 Chevrolet build specifications closely lately, but if memory serves, those manifolds are approved for use in pink taxicabs of 1937 vintage, but they are verbotten for use in the more slinky, sexy tudor flatback body style. Sorry Johnny but rules are rules. Play fair.

I'll play fair Tinn. Here's a challenge for you though, should you care to take it. Lets see which one of us has their "latest' car in Victoria for Deuce Day 2010. My 37 flatback versus your 32 3 window. How fair is that? You've got a head start, and mine is still stock. Let the games begin!:D
