I have a hot rod chassis for sale in sale section . There is pics there under 28 ford chassis , or ..77. .
I,ve had this thing so long , IIRC the guy I got it from said it was sposed to be model eh , but it has a kick up at the back . Which I thought looked like a later Ford chassis . When the car was orig built it was sposed to have a hi boy type body on it .
So far since Dec 1st , I,ve had 7 guys come and look at it . I,ve had so many people look at it i started counting them .No real serious offers .
But a few of the guys have said they thot it was based on a Chevy chassis . I,m not terribly worried what it is . I,m just selling it . I have 2 other drivers , 1 drag car , 2 resto mod projects . Plus my two dailies .
If,n you got a minute , take a look at the pics , does it look like a Chebby chassis ??. I,m not at all familiar with what a Chev chassis would look like . Thanks ..77.

looks like early chev rails converted to ford susp.....would be tough to mount a flat modelA body to it....maybe built for 33 up style?...looks like it would fit under the 33 ply. that i'm workin on

Yeah see I dont know any one at all thats building / has a Chebby hot rod of that vintage , or even a stocker so i could go and compare frames . Take some measurements etc .
I have one guy coming this weekend and another next weekend . I think next month or so I,m going to ebag it . Put a too high reserve on it and see what happens ..77.

look for larger holes to mount shackles in the sides of the frame ....chevs had parallel springs front and back and a large plate that covered the gas tank in the rear....looks like someone cut the shackles off the back frame horns....i paid 50 bucks for my chev frame so the value you have is in the components, in my opinion

77:pI posted on your sale page by mistake .Here is the measurments for a model A.The front rails are 25 1/4" outside to outside . At the point at the front cab is about 31". That tapers to the back straight to 42" . The rails on a chev are straight with no angle change . If I remember the inside measurement was about 26" and the outside rear was around 40" . A newer Ford 33-34 frame starts at25 1/2" at the front then widens to about 35 1/2" just front of the cab and then to 44" from about the rear of the door back . Give us some measurements and we can maybe figure out what you have .The frame you have seems to have been modified quite a bit .
