Yep, I'm new to the hot rod culture. The name is Steve, from Sylvan Lake, AB. I've always been a spectator, drool over the cool rides, walk away thinking how do they do that? So a good friend of mine, CDNFlatlander, calls me up and says, how serious are you about building that T Bucket you talk about. I says don't know where or how to start. He pulls in the yard with a T body he found in a field somewhere, and suddenly I'm building that T Bucket. My next step is to become a sponge, soak up all I can.

Yep, it is an addiction for which there is NO known cure. The best therapy however is "another car":D
Welcome & enjoy:)

Welcome to the site, I would avoid calling this hobby a culture. About the only guys who call it that are the "Rockabilly" meatheads who are searching for an "identity" rather that having fun with old cars.

Giday and welcome here Steve, well mate there is no time lik ethe present to start learning so hook in and make a few mistakes and learn from those, just look at the way guys have done things and because you are building a project it will become clearer to you.

All the best with it.

Cheers, John

John in Oz has us well-versed with the necessity of owning a good pair of velcro mitts when you.... ahem..... are fond of sheep. What works well with the porkers?

Welcome to the club and good luck with the T. Greg will set ya straight or at least "steer" you to a variety of livestock.

Welcome to the big house. Hope you have fun building your T. They all start from somewhere. Mine started on a piece of paper. Then the $$$$$.
