Crew, I did get to see Hammer's powder coat oven, it was a good looking unit. Now I am wondering what else do you guys have or have used to make the oven for the work shop?
I would like to make one, but would like to know if there was some hard-learned never-do-again lessons that could be passed on (about making the oven).
I intend on powder coating wheels and trim pieces / brakets for the rod and quad:eek:
Please include some diamensions and types of materials you used to build the beast...including the type of insulation if some was used.
Thanks.
Greg.

I use a GE (kitchen stove).......... got it from a friend that was moving for free. rewired the plug to match my welder plug. The only limitations is that I cant do a set of headers. If I found a second oven of the same style and size I have debated welding the two together and removing the wall between the two? As it is it works great..........

Some people have used a normal kitchen oven and made a plywood box to fit over the open oven door. Increases the oven capacity by 2X
