Andy here re-registering to the new forum... I'm originally from OZ but came to Canada for a holiday in 96 and have been here ever since... what was I thinking?? Now I freeze my ass off in East Vancouver with my wife and 2.5 year old daughter.

I am currently in the SLOW process of customizing a 50 Chevy 2 Door Sedan.

Things are slow moving with the car due to a little one but here are the plans... I found a blank canvas online and photoshopped my ideas for a mild custom so I'd have something to follow, probably go a little darker on the blue though... hope you like???

Giday Dribs, good to see you back, we have had a fairly mild summer here in Brisvegas but they have been getting in the 40's down south, Jan went down for the Australian open and she said it was hot but it had been hotter the week before.

Floods man they have copped some flooding in 80% of Qld but in Brisbane the dams are only about 30% so there is still a water shortage. The pipe line from the decimalisation plant down the Gold Coast is nearly done and the pipeline to Brisbane is progressing well so there might be some water there by the time the dams run out of water.

Lake Gairdner was too wet for running on but might be held later this year depending on the condition of the salt.

Your Chevy looks neat being a 2 door, you have settled in a nice area for sure, good for you.

Thanks for the welcome back... I've been mainly moderating Shiny's Forum (FlatBlack) that's why you don't see much of me here.

I've already got the fender skirts and visor for the 50, just gotta find the time to start working on her. The weathers been nice lately so I've got the car parked out front so my little girl and I can go cruising in the arvos after work.

I'll probably fit the visor first then flake it and the roof... then work on the skirts and body, going for a suede blue...

Also got a complete mustang II from clip from TCI waiting for the winter... disk brakes, drop spindles, tube a-arms etc etc. Wanna cruise her for a bit before pulling her off the road for a front end make over.
