ok guy's how about a step by step to do one of those avitars

1) choose the picture you want to use.
2) It will most likely need to resized to 80x80 pixels.
3) download the program to help you resize the picture. Get it Here! (http://download.microsoft.com/download/f/c/a/fca6767b-9ed9-45a6-b352-839afb2a2679/TweakUIPowertoySetup_ia64.exe) AND Here's How (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/learnmore/tips/eschelman2.mspx) to use it.
4) Just under Canadian Rodder Hot Rod Community Forum, you will see UserCP. Click on it.
5) On the lefthand side you will see a list of options, click on Edit Avitar
6) Click on the little button next to, Use Custom Avatar
7) depending on where your newly created picture resides, upload from a link on the web (photobucket, for instance) or directly from your Computer.

Ask away if you still have a problem.

Ok i did that and the picture comes on the avitar page, but how do we get it to the screen we are posting from? I have tried the two boxes undernieth, but nothing comes up on my posts. Also the list of rules says no attatchments.

If your are trying to post the picture to your post, it needs to on a web photo host such as PhotoBucket or Imageshack or Flickr or or or...

I just noticed something - call me slow...

If you log in to Canadianrodder.com under your username and post soemthing onto the forums your avatar doesn't show up.

But...

If you log in as a guest your avatar comes up beside you username and post. I kinda like that feature. Is there no way to have the avatars beside you username and post when we are logged in?:confused:

Just a thought. I am sure there is a reason behind it.

I figured it out there is a chec box in the profile setting to view avatars.... Fheew.. took me a while....:confused::confused::confused:

Check your PM's. :D



To help others along: ;) :D

1) Click on User CP
2) Under Settings & Options list on your left.
3) Click on Edit Options
4) Scroll down about two thirds and make sure there is a check mark beside Show Avatars.
5) Then scroll all the way to the bottom and Save Changes.
