Artie would only gop if you paid for his gas, food, accomodations, etc., etc.. Nothing has changed with this fella.

Im gonna try to make it down Saturday morning. Rolled my quad off the ramps putting it on my truck a week ago and ribs are still sore...Id like to be there tho...in pain or not!!

was there yesterday...had a good outing. Lots of empty booths. didnt take my truck and missed out on a mint 47 door that I have been looking for for a few years..doh. Saw my neighbor Bob Wilson there looking around for a new car as he just sold his 30 sedan...

Was Lloyd Meyer there with him? Good for Bob, he had a hard time getting into that car, as you know.

I didnt notice anyone with him...we were waiting in line for some of that expensive swapmeet food when he showed up behind me and said Hi. I dont know what he was looking for but he mentioned a pickup to me once.

...overall attendance was down. Potential buyers, and vendors both commercial and hobbiests were notably down. I asked some of the vendors I've come to know if they could pinpoint reasons for the poor showing. # 1 reason seemed too be fuel cost(s) #2 was (everyone) trying to make at least something to help cover the costs for a weekends outting.

I hear also that the show at Abby suffered hugely this last weekend too!!
