Just got back from Waterdown (Sunday, 6:30PM) A great week-end. Got to visit with Pistinbroke and his Dad. Also saw Homer & Barb as well as Jamie and Stacy. We had 6 cars from Sudbury, my '34, Don's '33, Herb's '28 "A"
Andy's "reverse rod", a '37 Chevy Coupe with, dare I say it........FXXD power!
Gilles' '66 Chevelle "Big Block". GREAT weather, awesome cars and seeing old friends, it doesn't get better than that for me!!!!

Had all intentions on being there Saturday....camera and fresh batteries ready, but my "friend" Arthur Itus decided to "visit" me this weekend and pretty much screwed my plans...:mad:

Hey, Oldman, it was great to see you again. It's always nice to talk with you. Your club brought some really nice cars down with them. Next time I'm going to visit the wifes family I'll give you a shout. They live just outside of Sudbury.
Norton, Hey Norton!!!! It was good to see you at the booth on Saturday. What did you think of the turn out, not to bad eh? Jeffs truck sure was a head turner!!!
bgbdlink, I didn't see you go by. You got close to the booth, judging from the pic's. We were about four or five spots down from the flat black chevy with the fender well headers.
Sorry you didn't make it out shifter. Hope your feeling better.

Saturday was a great turn out for the meet and greet for that other board, haha. Great to see you guys again and meet some new friends.
Sunday was a bust! People were leaving at 1pm. I stayed until 1:30 or so and no one came over to say hi.
The swap was WAY smaller on Sunday as well.

I don't know what it is about Waterdown:( Saturday was a perfect day and cars were leaving at 1PM. It's been like that for as long as I've been going there. I suppose folks have lives other than cars, I guess! A lot of vendors left Saturday as well. I suppose it's nice to have the opportunity to do that,unlike that OTHER Flea Market:rolleyes: Even with the short days, it's a great event and a "must attend" for Don & me.:D:D

Ya, we had to pull out at the end of Saturday. We had a bunch of guys coming over to help us with some planning on Sunday so we couldn't stay. It's a funny thing about Waterdown. Lots of people on Saturdays, not so many on Sundays, always closing up between 2:00 and 4:00 Saturdays, and earlier Sundays. I like it though, casual, laid back sort of show. I had a good time both this past spring and fall. I hope to be back next year for at least one of them.
