One of the last big shows before the snow flies is the Columbia Valley Classics 17th show & shine in Radium BC on September 20th.
Hotels are sold out for the Friday, not many rooms left for Saturday. Registration starts on Friday, Sept 19th, at 7 PM in the Radium Senoris Hall, then continues on Saturday at the Springs Golf course driving range.
Show is from 10 AM to 4 PM, then a cruise to Invermere and back happens after. Its a 22 KM curise one way and a sight to see.
Last year there were around 800 rides from all parts of BC, alberta and other points.
Rides that drove there on Saturday morning arriving around 8:30 or so were getting entry numbers in the high 700's, and parking in the back 40 on top of it.
Keeners, power parkers, trophy hunters, i.e. read 6AM, were getting there so the show area was filled prior to those that were driving in that day. From Calgary is abou' a 2.5 hour drive to get there.
Thinking of going, however, have an great aunt from Montreal visitng, so I may not get there as planned.
