hey, this looks great! Had trouble figuring out how to post pics on the last site, so will work on that this time around. Want to show you guys the 33 Ford 5 window coupe I am building 50's style, and the 53 Ford convertible custom car that I bought recently - for the second time, after selling it in 1977! Its a story that I hope to tell here as time goes on.

Welcome back to the fold there ss34, some pics of your rides would be great to see. IT is still similar how you post pitures here.
There are smarter guys than me on how to post them here. I think it was Bullet who set up a clear explaination on how to do it last time, maybe he would be kind enough to do it again.
Your coupe sounds interesting to me.
Cheers, John

I know what you mean on wanting cars you sold back. I have a couple that I would like have back but it not going to happen. One is or last seen in Ontario and the other probabley got squished long ago in Ont.

Through the help of a couple of members of this board (Dave in Kamloops and Pat is Saskatchewan),my old convert was located, and just happened to be for sale. It is in sad shape, and will be a major rebuild project. Pretty much what I expected after 30 years!

Excelent. If you can make it happen go for it. If it to bad to fix maybe you can get it and then get a glidder body to go with it to make the original happen. What we want is seldom easy. I has waited to long and was to sensible but sure hope I kin put my own plan together.

thanks, Kelly. Yep, I made the deal with Dave in Nanaimo for my old 53 Ford custom convert (yes, part of the deal was that deuce grill shell!) and now have another major project on my hands - but when I look back, I never went for the easy ones! Hope to meet you guys in Kamloops some day when I get back to the old home town.

Is that the same Dave that has a 3w that most people say, will never be built?

Yes Daryl
Same guy.
I got the yellow 32 3wnd from him, and a sedan and a 5wnd coupe and a pickup.
He knows where there is a ton of 32 stuff on the island.
Great guy too

Dave is a great guy, with a very interesting collection of old Fords. I'm just thankful that he hung onto my old 53 Ford custom long enough for me to find it - with help from Dave Giese in Kamloops and Pat (Fordnutz on this site) in Saskatchewan. Without the help of Dave G. and Pat, I never would have found it - so, thanks guys !!
