Seems some members have had dificulties posting up pictures.
Here is a simple yet effective solution..
Have two Internet Exploder windows open 1) here and 2) PhotoBucket.
From your Photobucket account, with your mouse left click on the IMG Code and it will auto copy to memory (clipboard), then back on here right click in your new post and choose paste.

If you are looking at posting a thumbnail of your car or project (not your actual thumbnail) :D
Here is the code to do it. Just remember to remove any spaces and replace the link to my picture with links to your own. ;)
[ url = http : // farm2.static.flickr . com /1008/...0bc79dc0_o .jpg[ img ] http : // farm2.static.flickr . com/1008/927024610_ac16ddcb5b_t.jpg[ /img ][ /url ]
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1008/927024610_ac16ddcb5b_t.jpg (http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1008/927024610_1f0bc79dc0_o.jpg) <<<CLICK ON THE PICTURE...

angiliagasser,
To post pictures from your Flickr account, follow these steps.....At this point have one internet window open for Canadian Rodder and One open for Flickr. You will need to switch back and forth between them.
From your Flickr account find the picture you want to post.
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2045/2422349590_fea9e64ab6_o.jpg
In the menu just above the picture, click on the All Sizes Button.
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3094/2421536663_0a99420aab.jpg
I find the MEDIUM size to be the best to post.
Scroll down till you see the URL for your picture.. Highlight the URL, then right click on it and click on copy.
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2380/2421536713_5f3b8171a3_o.jpg
Now on Canadian Rodders site, in the reply / start new thread box. click on the little yellow square that looks like it has a mountain in it.

To be continued.....

PART 2::
Posting a Picture from a Flickr account......
After you click on that little yellow square, you get the following pop-up to paste your URL. You need to remove the http:// that is in the pop-up, then paste the URL that you copied from two steps back.

Hope this helps for Flickr Users..

No!!!!:D this site does not permit porno!!!!!:D That applys to you John!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
But in reality..This is a reallity question right!!! You must host or store your pics on a photo hosting site..Like Photobucket It is free to store some pics or for a minimal charge you can store thousands of pics..then they are allways there stored and from the host site you just copy and paste the link here and when it opens it is linked to here but stored there ..Does anything I said make sense..If it does ..make an appointment with your Dr for further diagnostic tests...:D:D

John,
Take a Deep Breath... Now Exhale... :p :p
As for posting pictures:: FIRST MAKE SURE YOU ARE LOGGED INTO YOUR BUCKET.
When you are in Photobucket, you move your mouse over the picture you want to post and the drop down of different codes appears below.
Move your mouse below, over the one with IMG Code [IMG]http;// . Left Click on the text that looks like what I've put in red.
With your mouse, right click and in the drop down box, left click on Copy
Then go back to you post that you are creating on Canadian Rodder and right click with your mouse and then left click on Paste
If your still stumped ask away :)

John,
Try and follow, OK? :) :p
Login to your Bucket Account and just under Upload images & videos, click on (more options)
http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m142/58oddity/Stuff/PB-Options.jpg
Click on the radio button next to Large (640 x 480)
This will automatically resize the pictures you link to in your posts. 640 x 480 should be a good size if you think it's not try the selection above or below that one.

Danno,
As much of a techie that I am I really hate using flikr for photos.
The Bucket is so much easier.
Nice ride. :D

I may have to change to photobucket !! I'll look into it. Right now it costs me about $25/ year to use Flickr, but I agree it's a PITA.
Thanks for the comment.

Photobucket is free.
Photobucket is free, up to a limit of I think its 500 pics or a limited MB
Then you go to a Pro Account (which you pay) and its unlimited
If you exceed the limit you're account is frozen until you either delete some pics or upgrade
Deleting pics will break links to pics that you have posted
