I was palnning, however, family member is now coming to town and I'm saving up for the big trip next May. Superrun 2009/Rockin' in Red Deer is on my calendar to attend next year.

I am leaving next Wednesday. Diane and I are handling registration. 250 preregistered. Should be about 600-700 cars there. Good mix so far of rods, 50's and 60's. We are taking our trailer and will be camping just inside the fairgrounds entrance. Shaune and his wife will be there also. My son will have his teardrop and another friend will have his boler. It will be a busy 5 days for us. You can register at the host hotel Thursday and Friday or starting Sat AM at the fairgrounds gate. There are some good tours planned before and during the event. Pat.

We made it home last night, no rain all weekend which was nice (other then the last 45 minutes home)I heard that there was around 600 vehicles ,It was nice to touch base with a bunch of old friends and made numerous new ones . I hope to post pics later ,anybody else have some pics to share .

Oh, and thanks for the pics. Looks like a pretty good time. The 58 GMC Fleetside caught my eye. Pretty rare model.

That "bobber truck" was interesting to look at. The engine was in a mid 70s Camaro for several years and looked real mean but looks like he scabbed together this truck now. I don't know too much about air bag systems but his looked unique. Truck looked good with it's twin turbos hanging out each side.
