For how to load an avatar, see the Avatar discussion near the bottom of the forum page.

For photos of projects, rides etc, you need to either have or get an Photobucket or Flicker account.

Photobucket is better and its also free, no paid account required.

Once set up, you upload to photobucket from your computer. You can also set up albums too on Photobucket.

Once uploaded to Photobucket, then its a copy/past function to Canadian Rodder, regrettably picture by picture.

Use two screens: Open photobucket and Canadian Rodder, start a new thread or reply to a thread then copy from Photobucket (IMG) and paste onto Canadian Rodder using your mouse.
.

You can post up to 15 pictures per reply. Make sure you hit enter after pasting a photo so it goes vertical format versus horizontal.
If you want a space between the pics, hit "enter" twice or three times.
After 15 pics and you still have more, hit reply button to start another post and 15 subsequent pictures.

Some good advice from OneBad56.

http://www.canadianrodder.com/forum/showthread.php?t=137 follow the instructions here and all should be good. If you're still finding dificulty, post in that thread and I or someone else will lend a hand.

Thank you very much guy's,...I believe I need to work on my photobucket acct. some.

The damned Photobucket "work window" it seem's,..has only provisions for " Uploading " pics,...not downloading pics from my puter. Thinking back to when I was posting pics on here,..this window that I am getting now has none of the provisions on it that I remember. I recall downloading pics from my saved pics in the puter, to the Photobucket account,..can't seem to do that now.

Thanks for the help again,..I need to spend some time in there and get it figured out.

....if I'm reading this right, Photobucket "Uploading" is what you want to do (i.e. from your computer to the Photobucket account). I think it's a terminology problem.....

uploading from your computer is the correct term....you upload a pic from your computer to Photobucket then you "link" from here to photobucket in your message.

Sorry, meant to say uploading, click on the little green button at the top of your photobucket photo album.

I actually don't have a flicker or photobucket account. I'm using Hub Garage with great success. I have thousands of pics stored there and currently there are no limits - also free.:D

There must be # limits on photobucket or something, because when ever you visit an older thread, it is littered with "sorry this photo has been moved or deleted" - very annoying. Mine don't expire and won't be moved unless I move them.

Fordy,
The pic's disapear because the owner is the one who moves or deletes them. :D
