Hey everyone,
I'm new on the forums and thought I would ask for some advice. I recently found a car in Alberta and need it shipped here to the Hamilton area. I have already had a quote from one company (Action Auto Carrier in TB,ON) but I am the kind of person who needs reassurance in who they are going with.
Anyone have any recommendations on a carrier who is legit, good price and quick?
Thanks

You could try Haulman Transportation...only one I've had any experience with.....Did a good job and reasonable....
905-426-5991 or 905-983-6061
You will no doubt get more responses if you fill out an intro in the intro section....I couldn't care less myself, but some of the guys here get their shorts in a knot if you don't :D
Mike.

Depending on where it is in Calgary through Hansen's auto forwarding I have shipped a few vehicles from BC to NS even one last week I have found that they have great service and are very careful with what they do with them I would think from Calgary to Ont it would go via rail Hope this helps

hansens is a good company.....i used them 3 yrs ago to bring me a car from bc to edmonton and was very pleased as well.
the cheaper hauler is likely a company called sea rail....they have been around a long time...and are good too.
the car will go by train to toronto from alberta with either carrier...and likely flat deck truck to hamilton from TO.
NOTE: if it is pro-street car, with narrow rear end you may have a problem with rail car transport because they have a minimum width between the tires needed to facilitate tie down...and a pro-street with wide boots wont fit....in which case you will need a truck hauler to get it to you....Thorsens EVT is an excellent one (TO based company), especially if it is a nice and valuable car...trailers are enclosed.

Have used their services a couple of time. Got one car brought in from Nova Scotia and another from Northern Ontario. Both times door to door. I'd use them again.

thanks guys for the input. However I have contacted one rail company and they won't ship if the car is a non-runner... it is indeed a non-runner. I will try Hansen's for a quote. Thanks
