...yup, Cookie, I'll be there....the venue is a pub down in the long-neglected docklands which is a great environment for this type of show/event. The Keating Channel is a shipping channel where the Don River meets lake Ontario (it's also at the south end of the Don Valley Parkway).
Would love to see you there, have a peek at the BGBDLINC and a new aquisition on the way down, food, a few silly pops, and some music.....any and all are welcome.....festivities start about 5:00 PM July 5 and goes on 'till the last drunken idiot goes home' (according to the organizer)
This is a first time event so the number of participants is unknown.....in fact, we could rally at my place for all who are interested for beer and jaberwocky and head on down...
Our globetrotting buddy Ratz will be there (as with all the PTP) in spirit, I'm sure......

as a long lost Scarbeerian I would be hounered to be there but project just getting going and its a 5 hour drive away from my adopted home out in Eastern Ont. Will be doing alot more shows when the car is done. THE COASTERS LIVE.

Funny/odd , mapquest says go west on 401 then down to gardiner across to bottom of dvp . I woulda thought easier to go east 401 and down the dvp ??. Thats the way I,m going ..77.

...Mapquest must have got your origin wrong.....anyway for those who don't know -as you approach the lower end of the DVP stay in the left lane and exit at the Don Roadway. This will bring you to Lakeshore Blvd (stop light just after you exit). Go straight and Villiers St is the first right (beside the Keating Channel) and the pub is near Cherry St.

Sometimes those map sites can throw you for a loop. I,m coming down the 400 . Then it said 401 west ..WTF ? . I,m going my own way down the dvp . Plus theres abig farmers /flea market thing just offa dvp that I can take the Ol Lady to . Its kinda like putting a muffler on a loud car to make the trip a lil quieter ..77.

...if you're coming down from the north, you might cut over to the 404 and avoid the 401 altogether...unless you're in a Talledega mood....

Market is some old factory along east ?? side maybe of dvp .
And man I love putting my cars thru the chicanes ( sp ) along the 401 an keeping up with the local traffic . ..77.

...here are a few pics....a perfect night in downtown T.O....the Gardner Expressway almost overhead, reclaimed and reforested industrial land, silouettes of oil tanks in the background, rusting ships and floating crap in the Keating Channel all gone....and the cars started to arrive......

Cool pics . I couldnt go . I ended up having to do some stuff for my Mom . She,s 92 . So I kinda gotta do it . And at night I had to take my Ol Lady an 4 of her friends out to a local bar . Are they gonna have more events this year ??.
I saw some billet on that black coupe ..77.
