Hi guys well I think I understand how to do this picture thing now [ya right only if my son is here to do it lol]This is our 32 dearborn body hiboy that I built in 05.I bought a 97 mustang convert that was a write off and used the engine [32 valve four cam 4.6] along with the 5 speed. The only other thing I used from the mustang was the instrument panel and had a buddy machine a cool billet suround for it that looks simular to a 32 gauge panel.I also installed a tci front suspention, the rear is jag center section and I had Bougie's rod shop build all aluminum control arms with coil overs.Thats the car and to answer about us we moved from chilliwack bc [about an hour east of vancouver]to toronto last fall,it's a long story lol.We like it here but I have'nt found a good job or the right place to buy a home so we might miss out on rodding this year until we get everything settled.

thanks 77 we are going to do more scouting this summer to find that "right place" to live. The wife likes the big city and I am starting to get used to driving here, with all four limbs, one foot firmly planted to the floor on the gas pedal, one covering the brake, one hand steering the other ready to blow the horn LOL.If there was one place we both want to be and that is in australia hmmmmmm I wonder if I'm john from oz's long lost son??????????:)

So is that who the adoption papers were for, hahahahaha, it said something about Fords park here:),

Nice little 32 you have there, you have got that looking real sharp. I guess by now you realise I own a 33 but as the old saying goes anything after 29 is a Chev. A mate and myself used to own 28's and then we used to ask guys how their Chev's were going, hahahaha they were 32 Henry's.

We are very lucky with the life style down here, 7 of the most deadly snakes in the world Crocodiles that don't eat you whole, they spit that part out, sharks that haven't been trained yet and think people are seals, spiders that live under the out house toilet seat, hahahaha, yea it's not a bad place. Funny though I still wouldn't mind living in Canada for a couple of years, now not forever just a couple of years would be fine, mind you I only came to Oz for a 6 month holiday 28 years ago and even though I could earn more money in New Zealand in those days the life style here is way better.

Anyway if you ever decide to come for a look around let me know, I'll make sure I'm out of town that week, nah just kidding, you would be more than welcome to camp down here for a while, just watch the wild Dingos, hahahaha. By the way Do you know how much can a Koala bear.

Cheers, John

thanks for the invite john, people here think the main reason for living or traveling to oz is for the weather although that is a big plus my reason is like yourself the people are just fantastic. We spent 5 weeks out of beenliegh in febuary,my wife's high school friend married a aussie several years ago and they invited us for a holiday wow what a holiday, staying at friends place makes the trip so much better than a hotel. Not to bore you but I have to tell about our trip. The first week our friends took us to the gold coast, lots of tourists had a great time then we hired a car and went up the coast to 1977 went out to the great barrier reef and dived with the fish (no sharks) the boat ride nearly killed us lots of people sea sick, the waves were 3-4 meters high and I think the captain was having fun lol Then we took the tin can toyota back and hired a holden, gotta have a aussie car right!!We headed across to broken hill and down to adilaide meet more great people along the way great city,on to melborne, getting tired rooms are getting scarce long weekend was getting dropy eyes some city worker put a curb out half a meter into my lane BANG two bent wheels on left side, the look my wife gave me was worst than the damage to the car lol found a quiet neigborhood and slept in the car, after a short nap off to sidney and more tourists and then back home to beenliegh so I would like to extend our welcome to you and yours to stay with us here as I am sure lots of others here would do to:)

V8Duece, Was that Feb this year you were here?? I guess you didn't see a Green and Orange Hansen concrete truck hurtling around there eh, hahahaha, I used to be based in the very next suburb to Beenleigh at Stapylton, I was driving an Agitator then. I actually live in Victoria Point which is a suburb in the Redland Bay area, nice spot, did you shake hands with anyone in Beenleigh, if so how many fingers did you have left after wards, hahahaha.

I think you might have gone to 1770 before you went out on the reef which is when Captain Cook found the land of Oz. You sure did a good trip, man you must have been glad to get home again after that trip for a break. So when you were in Adelaide I guess they must have feed you some of their home grown grass eh, the only place in Oz where it is legal to grow your own dope for your own consumption, yea right and you thought they were just happy, man who would be happy living there in the winter, You know why it is called the great Australian Bite now don't you, apart from the shape on the map it gets real cold with the winds off the south pole hitting right there. I guess if you drove down through Broken Hill you would have seen a lot of nothing but roads and skippys, (I have run a couple of road trains down through there in the past) that is where BHP was started which stands for Broken Hill Proprietries. Actually that is also where the Mad Max movies were made and you most like drove right over the same road where the stunt guy got killed making the movie, and they kept that scene in the movie as well as an honour to the guy, talking about stunts, do you know the difference between a Policeman batten and a magician's wand??

Anyway mate if you are ever thinkin about heading out this way again please do let me know.

Cheers and Beers, John
