Terrorist Strike Against Hot Rod Community

The hot rod community was shocked by an unprecedented attack by a suicide bomber. While the attempt failed, it signals an expanded scope in the global terrorism arena.

A lone suicide bomber drove front-on, kamikaze-style, into a 1932 Ford coupe on Highway 407 in York region, Ontario, Canada. The motive for the attack is not clear and no organization has stepped up to take responsibility for the attack.

While it appears to be a random attack, investigators are keeping silent until the all evidence can be examined.

It has left the hot rod community in shock and worried -especially as it comes during the summer months when so many cars are on the road.

Terrorism is no Joke
While we have made light of terror in the bogus story above, we are shocked. However, our shock comes from the recent events in London and ongoing terrorist activities globally.

We are not going to attempt to editorialize on the effects that terrorism has on the lives of ordinary, innocent, people. We can all imagine the devastating impact associated with the injury and death that results from terrorist activities.

Bizarre events continue in London. Let's hope (and pray) that, at some point, sanity will prevail and our planet will be rid of this senseless "eye for an eye" activity.

While we said that we were not going to editorialize on these matter, this is simply a small attempt to point out that evil spirited people are out there. And, while there are always two sides to every story, terrorist actions are SIMPLY WRONG.
