Some Background

Since launching the site, we've had, in the back of our minds, the notion of featuring a buildup of a rod from scratch and covering the project on the web site. We're featuring vehicles now that are under construction but this series will go quite a bit deeper.

That is, showcasing the process in a series of phases over many articles. Because we're Canadian Rodder, we want to showcase as many Canadian suppliers and craftsmen as possible. For the major components and services, we'll be able to do just that. That is, body, frame, paint, interior, etc. After that, we'll see what we can do. Certainly, Canadian parts suppliers will be involved. As things unwind we'll tell you about the "players".

This project won't be a strict "how-to" although there will be elements of it for sure. And, although we can't cater to everyones tastes, there will likely be something for everyone.

Please don't hesitate to provide feedback now or at any point. Where it makes sense, we'll share this feedback.
