How I Spent My Summer Vacation - Part 1
by Frank Colgoni

We also ran into (and nearly got run over by) a series of B.C. rodders who made the trek down the west coast.

About the run over part, I jumped in front of Jim Hagen's rod as he and Ron Doxey were leaving the grounds. Couldn't miss a photo op could I? I think, at first, Jim must have thought "who the h--l is this guy?"

After intros, he was cool and we met up a number of times over the course of the week.
