At the event gate, we were greeted by Andy's daughter Terri and her sister Debby
(Evans).

A little sidebar here: Debby's husband George, from Andy's, hails from Burlington, Ontario. I had made contact with George by email. I was hoping to hook up with him at the gig but he was slaving over at Andy's that day. It was however very nice to meet Debby who treated "us Canadians" like long lost friends in George's absence.

After parking, we wandered into the park and came across the father and son Briziomobiles - Andy's purple & flamed roadster and Roy's "chameleon". Gotta love 'em.

We then wandered over to Andy's booth and chatted with George's brother Sam (Canadians abound!) and bought the mandatory Andy's event tee from another of Andy's daughters, Kimmie. Andy's daughters have helped out at all of the Deuce Days so far. Very nice people (and good workers too!)

We then proceeded to start our rounds.

Father and son

Almost straight away, I spotted George Withers' yellow roadster so I knew that George wouldn't be too far away. George's car was featured in our cruise-night.com site and is still available in the Canadian Rodder Archive section. It looks mighty pretty in person. George fired it up for me. Sounds great too! Some very nice work here by Ron Attebury and his associates.
