The "Other" Barrie
I'm not going anywhere near the politics on this one (why bother). Who said there couldn't be two events on the same day in the same town anyway? If you aren't familiar with "Barrie", let's just say that there has been a large swap meet in Barrie for forever. Then, someone decides to put on an event that combines a cruise-in and a swap meet (auto stuff only) on the same day in the same town. You can figure out that there would be some "discussion" on this one.

In any case, we decided to check it out and had a great day. We were part of the 5 car pack that made the trip from the north end of Toronto. The boys and girls are shown below (I was taking the pic).

We think the organizers did a pretty nice job for a first time event (thanks Larry). Some of our favourites pictures follow.
